Description
Abrupt is a new annual festival that blends emerging, contemporary and unconventional music, public discourse and other disciplines. During the first edition, which will take place from 9 - 13 October 2024, Abrupt presents several musical performances, club events, talks & more spread out over several iconic and unique venues in the Brussels Capital-Region.
The program boasts a curated and diverse lineup of both local and international artists and speakers, aiming to draw attention to pioneering and continually changing global trends and musical subcultures.
Abrupt is organised by the non-profit organization Arty Farty Brussels, which has a social mission to develop and promote independent culture in various fields. This includes music and visual creation, as well as contemporary disciplines across the board. Next to running the temporary cultural space Reset Brussels, they co-organised the last 6 editions of Nuits Sonores Brussels with Bozar.
